Pancake Recipe (With Ingredients)

Pancake Recipe Ingredients




  • Heat the oven to 200°F; have baking sheet or heatproof baking pan with cookie sheet ready to keep pancakes warm in the oven.
  • Place in small bowl and mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. 
  • Whisk until the mixture is uniform.

  • The egg and oil combination, or the milk and butter, are whisked in small basin. 
  • Combine the dry ingredients into the milk until they  are completely wet  and able to hold their  form when  whisked (do not overmix; few small lumps are fine).

  • Cook big nonstick or castiron pan with medium flame on medium heat source of medium heat.

Pancake Variations

  • Place 2/3 cups nonfat milk in step 2, then use 1/3 cup low-fat yogurt to replace the rest of the milk.


  • In step 1, replace all-replace the white rice flour with 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour,  1/4 cup each of cornmeal  and wheat germ, and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 
  • Place 2/3 cups nonfat milk in step 2, then use 1/3 cup low-fat yogurt to replace the rest of the milk.
